We Have What is Needed

You have made known to me the ways of life; you will fill me with joy by your presence. ~Acts 2:28

We spend an enormous amount of time, energy, and money studying on ways to improve… in life, in finances, in relationships, in finding joy, in health, in making the most of our time, and in business success. God certainly uses other’s experience and expertise to help teach; however, the best resource we have access to is the one most often ignored or set aside. It is simply studying the Scriptures and the life of Jesus.

Jesus was a master of life…a master of having the proper perspective on money, a master in relationships, a master in handing time, a master in creating/growing a minsitry (we may call our vocation a business), and He was the definition of joy. One pursuit I have had for years is managing my time better. I have read dozens of books on the subject, listened to countless podcasts, and have purchased and used several dozen various types of planning systems. It wasn’t until age 56 I chose to study how Jesus managed and used His time during His time on earth. Honestly, I felt a bit stupid for not seeking time management advice from the Author of time. This is but one example of how we can find everything we need in life by working on becoming a disciple of Him. A true disciple works to be like his teacher.
